Riding the N Georgia mountains

@nshttpd and I headed up to the mountains the other day. I had the GoPro on my bike and got some good footage of the back of his bike…

We started the day in Cumming, rode through Dawsonville and Dalonegha, then headed up into the Chattahoochee National Forest for a few miles while we made our way to Two Wheels Only for lunch.

The weather was great, but the traffic… not so much. Most of the time we were behind a car or a gaggle of cruiser bikes. But the few times we found open road it was a blast.

Of course the Ducati was fantastic. This was my first ride other than into downtown Atlanta and I’m anxious to head north again soon. As far as how the Streetfighter handled the mountains, again, fantastic. The riding position that is so great in town and on the highway is just as good when the roads start bending back on themselves.
